The executive committee and members work hard for good community outcomes and to give our residents a voice in the decision-making that affects them. What we call “every day democracy.”

It is sometimes hard for individuals to get good outcomes and be heard.   

We believe that together we can move mountains.  

 

We want our residents to feel a sense of place and pride in our Nerang community and environment.    

 

After all,  residents here know Nerang is the best kept secret on the Gold Coast.

We have a beautiful river with pools and rapids and a meandering riverine path and all the marine life.  We also have our Nerang National Park with native animals, birds and plants, many of which are rare, threatened, vulnerable or endangered.  Walkers in the national park often see koalas. 

 

These are areas of great beauty and it seems we have it all.
