The NCA's aims are:

​

1. To Maintain, promote and improve where possible the amenity of residence of the Nerang area comprised in postcode 4211.

​

2. To create and develop an apolitical, democratic structure open to memebership of any person over 18 years.

​

3. To submit constructive proposals in the furtherance of the association's objectives to the relavent authorities and, in particular, to liaise with the Gold Coast City Council.

​

4. To monitor and inform the appropriate Statutory Body whenever an action by that body is seen to be detrimental to the lifestyle of Nerang residence.

​

5. To protect the heritage, natural environment and beauty of the Nerang district and ensure that any future development is in harmony with the natural environment.
